Seminar: Accounting and reporting in a volatile macroeconomic environment

Voon Hoe leads the Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory Services in Singapore. He has over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury, financial advisory, and regulatory compliance. He is currently a member of PwC’s Global Accounting Consulting Services Group and the Global Banking Industry Accounting Group. He has advised clients across various industries – financial services, energy, utilities, commodities, transport, and logistics on a broad range of services including implementing accounting and financial reporting solutions and implementing the IFRS 9 system for financial institutions across Asia Pacific.

Phaik Sin is a senior manager from the Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory Services team in PwC Singapore with over 12 years of working experience. She is currently a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a fellowship of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has been responsible for various accounting advisory and implementation projects for banks and large corporations, including technical accounting advisory, IFRS implementation, and implementation of accounting and financial reporting systems.

Christoph is currently a senior manager from the Accounting Advisory services group in PwC Singapore with over 10 years of working experience. He is experienced in systematically improving the operating model of finance functions by analysing their current maturity level, identifying performance improvement opportunities and reengineering processes, including through the implementation of modern finance technologies for financial and non-financial disclosure management. Besides his passion for smart finance technology, he also helps finance functions with technical accounting support during IFRS implementation, GAAP reconciliation, accounting change, and financial reporting project management.

Jake has spent over 15 years in Enterprise Software, most recently holding roles across Workiva's North American and Asia Pacific Sales Teams working with the firm's largest, most strategic global customers. Prior to Workiva, Jake spent time at tier one software firms and IT Integrators in sales and leadership capacities.

Yeji is a Solution Engineering Manager for South East Asia and Korea. She has 10 years of experience working in the consulting industries focused on finance transformation and is responsible for identifying customers’ pain points and identifying areas of improvement for their reporting process.
