Over her 20+ year career at PwC, Kexin has advised on an extensive range of inbound / outbound investments, international tax structuring, tax advisory, transactions, asset management, incentive planning, compliance, operational tax and thought leadership projects. By volunteering for a 3.5 years secondment to Jakarta, she accumulated deep practical experience in the dynamic Singapore-Indonesia corridor and is known for her market-leading insights.
Adding to her portfolio of multinational corporate clients, Kexin works with Asian and global entrepreneur-driven and owner-led / controlled clients to balance shareholder, management and family needs across active business, investment and personal considerations. This includes serving as lead Singapore tax advisor to a suite of international law firms on tax structuring, compliance and tax audit defence issues as part of her Private practice. Fluent in English / Mandarin and some Bahasa Indonesia, Kexin is also actively involved in driving PwC’s Asia Pacific and Singapore NextGen clubs, connecting NextGen peers of business families for learning, growth and development.
Widely profiled in the media and a frequent public speaker, Kexin has served in a multitude of hands-on to advisory roles since 17 in not-for-profit organisations, grassroots networks and government organisations. Inducted between 2012 to 2018, Kexin is the youngest council member ever appointed in the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants’ history. She is currently a council member of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and mentor to start-up founders at international not-for-profit Endeavor. Further, she is the only alumna appointed on the Singapore Management University’s (SMU) Board of Trustees by the Ministry of Education, senior member of the Global Family Office Circle and faculty member at the Wealth Management Institute. With her deep and diverse experience, she has been named 'Young Accountant of the Year' at the inaugural Singapore Accountancy Awards and one of Singapore's '40 under 40' to watch by Prestige magazine.
A Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and Accredited Tax Practitioner, Kexin graduated as SMU’s first female Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Accountancy and major in Law (summa cum laude).
