David leads PwC Singapore’s Governance, Risk & Compliance practice, which comprises Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Forensic services to organisations from the private and public sectors. He also leads PwC’s Entrepreneurial and Private Business practice providing integrated business solutions to entrepreneurs, owner-managed and family businesses.
During more than 25 years of his career, David led a wide range of projects for clients with Asia Pacific and Global operations from various industries focusing on areas related to Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Internal Controls, Business Processes, Sarbanes Oxley 404 Compliance and Fraud Risk Assessment.
David led several investigations into fraud, internal controls and governance failures at the request of boards, board sub committees of Singapore listed companies and regional leadership teams of MNCs. The work involved in depth process reviews as well as forensic services.
David regularly conducts seminars on governance, risks and controls such as those organised by the Singapore Institute of Directors, Securities Investor Association Singapore and Singapore Exchange. He regularly contributes thought leadership articles on governance, risk and controls. He is also part of the PwC working group to assist the Singapore Institute of Directors in its Best Managed Board Awards and the development of the Board Guide.
