With over 14 years of experience in risk management, OTC derivatives valuation, and analytics consulting across various asset classes, Alvin possesses extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, where he leads a dedicated team of specialists. Together, they provide comprehensive support to clients in the areas of financial instrument valuation and quantitative risk modelling.​

​Before joining PwC Singapore, Alvin served as a risk analytics consultant, offering technical expertise to clients throughout Southeast Asia in areas such as market, liquidity, and counterparty credit risks.​

​Alvin’s scientific background fuels his passion for staying updated on advancements in physics and cosmology. He firmly believes that solutions to contemporary climate and energy challenges will emerge from a deep understanding and harnessing of nature. Alvin is particularly interested in strategic focus areas like nuclear fusion, quantum computing, and climate change.​
