Technology Consulting (Data Analytics) – Assistant Manager/Manager

This is your opportunity to join PwC's growing Data Analytics team in Singapore. This role will allow you to combine your expertise in data manipulation and analytics with your problem solving ability and methodical approach to find meaningful solutions for clients. You will be expected to lead multiple projects and have to manage your own time accordingly.

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager to join the team and be part of the drive to grow our position in the market.


Will vary by role, but will include an element of:

  • Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to broader audience
  • Prior experience synthesizing and packaging complex analyses and delivering results to non-technical audiences including senior leadership teams
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making. Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity; propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented way
  • Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge of advanced analytic methods and visualization techniques, applying quantitative methodologies to complex business problems across multiple industry issues or functional domains
  • Lead and manage analytics engagements, including engagements in the area of business process enhancement analytics, predictive analytics, etc
  • Support senior members in resolving client issues and to achieve predefined business growth targets. Support team in developing proposals and sales materials
  • Responsible for checking the methodology and results used by team.


  • A good Degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Decisions Sciences, Computer Science, Economics etc)
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience of hands-on analytics. Experience of working in a Big 4 or major consulting firm is preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical skill sets. Knowledge of SAS/R, SQL and predictive modelling skills required
  • Good presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good client management skills, authoritative and credible in a client conversation - both in terms of personal style and subject matter expertise

  • Must have the capability to work on several projects in parallel, and be able to switch from one to another with confidence
  • Ability to lead teams under pressure with demonstrated experience in project management.
