Profile

Kazuhito Inokuchi is a tax partner in the International Tax Group (specialising in transfer pricing). He joined PwC Hong Kong in 2006, providing transfer pricing services mainly to Japanese companies in China and Hong Kong. In 2008, he was seconded to PwC Tax Japan, where he was engaged in the development of transfer pricing group policy and transfer pricing documentation for Japanese multinationals facing various transfer pricing issues. After returning to PwC Hong Kong in 2011, he provided support for transfer pricing audits and advance pricing agreements. In 2014, he transferred to PwC Tax Japan, where he continues providing transfer pricing consulting services mainly to the automobile and entertainment industries.

He has a master’s degree in business law and is a licensed Japanese certified public tax accountant.

  • Assistance in implementing equity compensation schemes for foreign executives of Japanese multinational companies
  • Assistance in developing and implementing international assignment programs for Japanese multinational’s foreign employees
  • Assistance in relation to tax and immigration compliance for long term business travelers, including alleviating double taxation issues
  • Assistance in designing remuneration package for non-Japanese executives being appointed at Japanese headquarters
  • Assistance in implementing inter-company agreements for international secondments 
  • Other various projects in relation to tax issues in the HR / global mobility field.
