Hear from our people

Clarabelle Chan
Associate, Financial Services Assurance

"As an economics and finance major, accounting was not top of my career choices initially. However, when attending PwC’s Careers Discovery Day, I discovered a career that combines numbers, problem-solving, collaboration and growth.

With the support from peers, seniors and managers, I am able to combine my knack for numbers with hands-on client engagements to build my professional competencies."

Kelly Ma
Senior Associate, Risk Services

"As an Economics major, I developed a strong foundation in the principles that shape business and market behaviour. Moving into a regulatory risk and compliance role has allowed me to apply that knowledge in a practical setting.

I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to help organisations navigate complex regulatory environments and manage risk effectively. Each engagement gives me deeper insight into market practices and the real challenges clients face. Through these experiences, I have also developed valuable soft skills that will continue to support me throughout my career."

Jahnvi Raj Singh
Senior Associate, Risk Services

"I joined Assurance with an open mind, not from a traditional accounting route, but from a Bachelor of Science background in computing and law.

That mix has helped me find my place in Technology Risk Services, where I get to apply both my understanding of technology and my ability to interpret regulations in work that is challenging, practical and meaningful.”

Srinidhee
Senior Associate, Tax

"Having had an internship stint at PwC’s Transfer Pricing within the Tax practice, I saw how my specialisation in Finance can come in handy when understanding our clients’ business models and financials. I’ve also built genuine connections with my team-mates, which led me to return as a full-timer upon graduation.

While the journey brings a steep learning curve, I developed a genuine appreciation and interest for Transfer Pricing. Now celebrating my first-year anniversary at the Firm as a full-timer, I look forward to deepening my competencies through more complex work."
