대림산업㈜의 미국 소재 Kraton사 Cariflex 사업부 인수를 위한 실사자문

PwC Korea Deals Finance Advisory team은 대림산업㈜이 미국 소재 Kraton사의 Cariflex 사업부를 인수하는 딜에서 회계자문사로 참여하였습니다.

미국 휴스턴에 위치한 Kraton사는 화학적 중합체인 폴리머(Polymer)를 생산하는 글로벌 기업으로 미국, 독일, 프랑스, 네덜란드, 브라질, 일본 등에 생산시설을 운영하고 있습니다.
Kraton사가 보유한 Cariflex 사업부는 수술용 장갑, 주사 용기의 고무마개 등 의료용 소재로 사용되는 합성고무와 라텍스를 생산 및 판매하고 있습니다.

본 건의 인수 주체인 대림산업㈜은 이번 사업부 인수를 통해 첨단 신소재 사업을 국내외로 확장할 예정입니다.

PwC Korea Deals Financial Advisory team은 본건 딜에서 매수인측 자문사로 참여하여 실사자문을 수행하였습니다.
동 자문업무는 Finacial Advisory team의 신승철 Partner, 한정탁 Partner가 담당하였습니다.

PwC Korea Deals Financial Advisory team is pleased to announce Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd.'s acquisition of Cariflex business unit in Kraton Corporation.

Kraton Corporation, headquartered in Houston, is a global manufacturer of chemical polymers and operates manufacturing facilities in USA, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Brazil and Japan.
The Cariflex business unit produces high-quality synthetic rubber and latex that are widely used in making medical products, such as surgical gloves and needle shields.

The acquisition of Cariflex will provide Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. with an excellent opportunity to strengthen its polymer presence globally.

The PwC Korea Deals Financial Advisory team, led by Seung-Cheol Shin and JungTak Han, provided financial due diligence service and successfully closed the transaction.
