㈜우리은행의 롯데카드㈜ 지분 인수 자문

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Services team은 우리은행이 롯데지주㈜로부터 롯데카드㈜의 지분을 인수하는 딜에서 매수자문사로 참여하였습니다.

롯데카드㈜는 1989년에 설립된 신용카드사로, 2006년에 롯데그룹에 인수되었습니다. 
회사는 무이자할부, 현금서비스, 카드론 등 금융서비스와 신용카드 발행 및 관리, 가맹점 모집 업무 등을 주 사업으로 영위하고 있습니다.
동 회사는 롯데그룹의 인프라를 통해 백화점, 마트 등에 이르는 여성층 중심의 유통 고객을 다수 보유하고 있고, 2019년 상반기 기준 카드 시장 점유율 5위를 차지하였습니다.

본 건의 인수 주체인 우리은행은 우리금융지주의 핵심 자회사로, 2019년 9월말 기준 국내 874개의 지점 및 출장소와 해외 463개의 네트워크를 두고 있습니다.

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team은 본건 딜에서 매수인측 자문사로 참여하여 매수 전 과정에서 효과적이고 전문적인 자문을 제공하였습니다.

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team is pleased to announce the acquisition of equity in Lotte Card Co., Ltd. to Woori Bank.

Lotte Card Co., Ltd. was founded in 1989. The Company provides credit cards, one time payments, installments, and cash advance services.

Lotte Card has a large number of distribution customers through the infrastructure of Lotte Group. Based on the first half 2019 market figures, Lotte Card is the fifth-largest credit card company in Korea. 

Woori Bank, a subsidiary of the Woori Financial Group, provides a full range of commercial banking services and has 874 branches and offices globally.

The PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team, led by Dae-Joon Park and Joo-Ho Choi, was engaged as the lead financial advisor for Woori Bank and successfully closed the transaction.
