MBK파트너스의 대성산업가스 매각을 위한 실사자문

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team은 MBK파트너스가 보유한 대성산업가스 지분을 매각하는 딜에서 회계자문사로 참여하였습니다.

대성산업가스는 MBK파트너스가 보유하고 있던 포트폴리오 중 하나로 1979년 대성산업과 글로벌 산업용 가스 업체인 프랑스의 에어리퀴드가 합작 설립한 국내 1위 산업용 가스 업체입니다.

본 건 인수 주체인 맥쿼리인프라실물자산운용(MIRA)의 맥쿼리아시아인프라스트럭쳐펀드는 아시아 지역 내 에너지·인프라 자산 투자 전용 펀드로, 맥쿼리그룹은 이 펀드를 통해 인도, 필리핀, 싱가포르, 중국에 위치한 도로, 발전소, 석유 저장설비 등에 투자한 바 있습니다.

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team은 본건 딜에서 매도인측 회계자문사로 참여하여 재무실사 업무를 수행하였습니다.
동 자문업무는 Transaction Service team의 박대준 Partner, 성낙필 Partner가 담당하였습니다.

PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team is pleased to announce the sale of Daesung Industrial Gases Co., Ltd.'s stake in MBK Partners Inc. to Macquarie Group Ltd.

Daesung Industrial Gases Co., Ltd. was founded as a joint venture between Daesung Industries and Air Liquide, a French company, in 1979 and has become the No.1 supplier of industrial and specialty gases in Korea.

Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets(MIRA)'s Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund, the buyer of this deal, invests in a variety of energy and infrastructure assets across Asia. 
Macquarie Group Ltd. has been investing infrastructures such as roads, power plants and oil storage in India, the Philippines, Singapore and China.

The PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team, led by Dae-Joon Park and Nack-Pil Sung, performed vendor due diligence for MBK Partners Inc. and successfully closed the transaction.
