Reefs in the sea

The frequency and intensity of extreme weather events are set to rise in the coming decades. And as temperatures and weather patterns shift, they'll spark social and economic changes worldwide. These environmental shifts will lead to shifts in economic activities and changes in populations as communities adapt—creating financial risks in markets and economies.

As we navigate these changes, we understand that our business faces financial risks – via disruptions to our own offices, in the communities where our team members reside, and in the broader business landscape.

“As a firm we’re committed to helping communities lessen their climate impact, tackle the physical risks of climate change, and strengthen their resilience for the future. Our efforts are driven by our people's dedication to volunteering their time and skills.”

“Many people are not aware how much maintenance nature reserves require to remain safe and accessible to the public, and to ensure that our native and endemic species hold their own against aggressive invasive species. PwC’s commitment allows us to continue its Conservation Management Plan for the nature reserve and improve it, both for wildlife and the community.”
