Mui Peng graduated from the University of Singapore and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
Her broad experience in tax advisory work includes strategic review and planning for large and medium-sized groups of companies with regional and international operations and local companies looking to list on the Singapore Exchange (SGX). This would involve advising on international and local tax laws and practices, assisting in identifying and negotiating appropriate tax incentives, advising on corporate re-organisations, crossborder tax planning, and mergers and acquisition.
She has extensive experience assisting clients in various industries from telecommunications, information technology, newspapers publishing, property development, hotel, transport and logistics, offshore oil and gas to manufacturing industries. Her present and past clients include Isetan Singapore, British Telecommunications group, Deutsche Telecom Asia, Ericsson group, O2 Online Limited, Singapore Telecom Ltd group, Sime Darby group, Agilent group, Compaq group, System Access Ltd, Singapore Press Holdings Ltd group, Singapore Post Limited, Singapore Land group, Tetra Laval group, British Gas group, Harilela Hotels, GlaxosmithKline group, NOL / APL, BW group, Cosco group, Eukor Car Carriers, Norden Shipping group, Aban/Deep Drilling group, Swissco group, Dyna Mac Holding group.
She is the author of a number of articles on tax matters for various journals and publications and a regular speaker at various tax seminars in Singapore and abroad.
