Gavin has recently joined PwC Singapore as a Financial Services tax partner specialising in transfer pricing. Prior to joining PwC, Gavin worked in the banking industry in London for 16 years, first with a major global bank in a wide range of roles including Compliance, Product Advisory, Regional Tax Counsel for EMEA and Global Head of Transfer Pricing, and then more recently with a large international bank as the Head of International Tax. Whilst in industry Gavin was widely involved in working on and overseeing all aspects of the banks' tax affairs, including global transfer pricing, compliance and tax risk management, indirect taxes, operational taxes, product and transactional taxes and legal entity structuring. Gavin has spoken at numerous conferences on financial services transfer pricing, including on APAs, MAPs, PEs and booking models.
Gavin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Gavin provides advice to clients on all aspects of financial services taxation, with particular emphasis on transfer pricing, international taxation, and tax risk management and control.
