Gett discusses digital tax and assurance at PICPA regional forum

PwC Philippines Risk Assurance Partner Geraldine 'Gett' Apostol was a panelist in the 7th MMR Regional Accountants' Forum held from 5 to 8 September 2019 at the Savoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast, Boracay Island, Aklan.

Gett, in particular, joined the Technical Session 5 panel that discussed emerging trends in digital tax and assurance. Francis J. Ricamora, event co-chair, moderated the panel discussion that had two other CPAs from the public practice sector as Gett's co-panelists.

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Metro Manila Region (PICPA MMR) organized the forum, with the theme "Reinforcing the Future Together. Today." PICPA MMR stated that CPAs must future-proof the profession amid technological changes.
