David Gibbons

David joined PwC Bermuda in 2005 and has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry in Barbados and Bermuda.  

Drawing on decades of leadership experience across assurance, advisory and industry-specialised services, he guides the regional firms through ongoing market and network‑driven change while maintaining a steadfast commitment to ethics, collaboration, and operational excellence. His vision focuses on strengthening client relationships, driving technology‑enabled differentiation, and preserving the trusted, supportive culture that underpins the region’s long‑standing success. Leveraging an extensive international network, David cultivates partnerships that bring global capabilities directly to clients, enabling them to navigate regulatory change, market disruption, and growth opportunities with confidence. By connecting with professionals and resources worldwide, David ensures that the Caribbean practice remains agile and well-positioned to address emerging challenges and opportunities. As CEO, he is dedicated to ensuring that our regional based clients access the highest level of expertise and experience consistently excellent delivery in all Lines of Service, including audit services. 

David is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda, Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados. David is a consistent member on insurance industry speaking panels at global conferences (e.g. RIMs), represented Bermuda on insurance industry presentations globally (UK, Canada) and currently the Lead Partner on a top 10 global reinsurance company.
