In response to the potentially significant challenges facing Isle of Man businesses due to the COVID-19 outbreak, PwC Isle of Man has launched a COVID-19 business support helpline. The helpline is available to all local businesses, large and small, whether clients or nonclients of PwC Isle of Man via telephone or an online query form.
The helpline is open Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (excluding bank holidays) to offer initial free guidance and support in relation to the Isle of Man Government support packages, tax measures and COVID-19 related business issues. The team at PwC will endeavour to help businesses determine what they are eligible for so they can respond more rapidly.
Kevin Cowley, Tax Partner at PwC Isle of Man who is heading up the initiative said: “I am pleased to launch this helpline to support our local business community during these challenging times, whilst supporting the ongoing efforts of the Government and Chamber of Commerce. The Government support schemes are vital measures to help local businesses, secure jobs and protect our economy. I hope the helpline will act as a friendly sounding board and help make a difference.”
The helpline is available by calling 01624 689497 or by visiting www.pwc.com/im/covid19helpline and submitting an online query form.
