Communities today are facing increasing levels of disruption. The challenges are real—and growing.
But so is the opportunity.
Our people are sharing their skills, knowledge, and experience to create lasting impact across local communities.
Whether it’s helping communities build new skills, prevent, and adapt to the impacts of a changing climate, or create more equitable opportunities for people so they can thrive—we are helping communities to become more resilient now and for the future. We are doing this through community projects as well as working in collaboration with others.
Across our global network, our firms and foundations also come together to support people and communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
We are committed to our communities. In FY25, we assisted 30 beneficiaries, including 8 NGO/NFPs and pro bono engagements in aid of charitable causes.
Care Day is a testament to our commitment at PwC Bahamas, showcasing how deeply community impact is woven into our corporate DNA. Now in its fourth year, Care Day unites us with a shared purpose: to make a real difference. Through hands-on voluntary service that reaches beyond the workplace, Care Day embodies our belief that true impact is born from collaboration and a genuine desire to support the communities that shape us.
In FY25, our teams dedicated their time and energy to support the Bahamas Humane Society, Lunch and Literacy, Bahamas Feeding Network, and Stapledon School for Special Needs Children. By providing practical, people-driven support aligned with each organisation’s mission, Care Day brought our values to life—strengthening community partnerships and underscoring how service is a core pillar of our culture at PwC Bahamas.
In FY25, PwC Bahamas’ DE&I and CSR Committees came together to lead a staff‑driven fundraising and donation initiative in support of the PACE School, an a school focused on teen mothers working to complete their high school education. Our people were at the heart of this effort, rallying around a shared goal of supporting young women as they navigate the dual responsibilities of parenthood and education—challenges that can often disrupt academic progress. Through the generosity of our staff, PwC Bahamas raised funds over $2,000 that allowed us to not only donate to the students but also purchase essential items, including school supplies, uniforms, baby supplies and more. The initiative reflected our collective commitment to equity, inclusion, and meaningful community care, ensuring support reached those who needed it most.
How we helped: By directing assistance to the PACE School, PwC Bahamas helped strengthen opportunities for teen mothers to remain engaged in their education, improve long‑term prospects for themselves and their children, and build confidence as they work toward greater independence and opportunity.
In FY25, we at PwC Bahamas proudly supported Baseball Reloaded with a $2,500 donation. This contribution helped cover team expenses, training needs, and participation in organised competitions. Our backing provided young athletes with structured coaching, essential equipment, and positive mentorship, using sport as a means to build discipline, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the field.
Other Youth & Sport Contributions
Neymour’s Athletic Club: We provided financial support that bolstered youth outreach initiatives and facilitated full athletic scholarships for student-athletes in The Bahamas and the United States.
Red-Line Track Club: Our donation supported youth track programmes focused on athletic development, wellness, and mentorship through structured training.
Goodwill Games: We contributed funding to youth sporting events that foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and regional engagement through competition.
Building on our ongoing support for Blockchain Business School since 2018, FY25 marked another year of dedicated involvement and tangible contributions. Throughout the year, we continued to champion technology education by hosting and participating in interactive learning sessions that introduced young people to blockchain and emerging digital concepts. Our focus was on sharing knowledge and providing educational support, making complex technology topics more understandable and accessible to students. Through this sustained engagement, we expanded early exposure to STEM and digital skills, sparking curiosity about technology-driven careers and helping young people develop digital awareness crucial for today's economy. By maintaining our support in FY25, we reaffirmed our long-term commitment to equipping young people with insights and skills that foster adaptability, lifelong learning, and future opportunities in an increasingly digital world.
