Jobs for experienced candidates
With offices in Nassau and Freeport, we provide challenging opportunities for recently qualified accountants in our assurance, advisory and tax and legal services practices.
Applicants for senior associate positions must hold an accounting designation, be recognised by the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants and have approximately three recent years of public accounting and audit experience. We prefer experience in the financial services industry. We provide industry and audit methodology training for all new assurance senior associates.
Jobs for college graduates
We provide opportunities for Bahamian university or college graduates willing to pursue a professional accounting designation. We support eligible candidates through the process of writing their professional accounting exams by providing relevant training and financial support.
As an associate, you’ll gain the relevant practical experience required to become eligible for membership in a recognised institute. You’ll join an engagement team comprising a partner, manager, senior associate and other associates.
As a new associate, you’ll receive introductory training in the firm’s audit methodology. On client engagements, you’ll be supervised, trained and coached by a senior associate and sometimes more experienced associates.
Prospective candidates should have a graduate or undergraduate degree in accounting with an above-average cumulative grade point and an academic career that demonstrates success as an achiever and leader.
May/June graduates are encouraged to apply as early as possible because the start date for new associates is generally in August of each year. Submit a current curriculum vitae and a copy of your most recent transcript along with your application.
Scholarships for students
Qualified Bahamian students have the opportunity to participate in a PwC scholarship program, which can provide for financial assistance to help cover the cost of tuition, room and board, books and airfare.
Scholarships are available for students wishing to attend college locally or university abroad. Students who wish to attend university abroad are generally expected to have first completed an associate degree or an equivalent number of credits.
To be considered, candidates must be Bahamian or a Bahamian status holder and meet one of the following three criteria:
- Have at least five GCE/BGCSE passes, including English and mathematics, or science, at C grade or above, or the equivalent.
- Have a high school diploma with at least a 3.00 grade point average for the last two years of high school and a combined SAT score of not less than 1600.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student.
