PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Bahamas is proud to announce the promotion of Kara Culmer-Wilson to Partner, effective 1 July 2026.
Kara's appointment reflects a career built on dedication, excellence, and leadership. Her PwC journey began in 2008 when she joined the firm as an intern while studying at Dalhousie University. Since then, she has progressed from Audit Associate to Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and now Partner.
With more than 16 years of experience across PwC's Bahamas and UK (London) firms, Kara serves clients in the banking, insurance, private banking, and capital markets sectors. She leads PwC Bahamas' Pillar Two tax compliance and advisory services, helping clients navigate complexity and unlock sustained value.' and serves as an accredited financial statement reviewer for the Caribbean region.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA), Kara also serves the profession as Treasurer, Council Member and Technical Chair of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).

PwC Bahamas is also proud to announce that Myra Lundy-Mortimer, Partner and Territory Assurance Leader of PwC Bahamas, has been appointed Chair of the Board of the network of PwC firms operating in the Caribbean, effective 1 July 2026.
This historic appointment marks a significant milestone, as Myra becomes the first female partner to serve in this role. It reflects more than 25 years of leadership and public accounting experience, including over 16 years as a partner and her longstanding commitment to advancing PwC's people, clients, and business across the region.
In addition to her new role, Myra will continue to provide client services in the financial services sector where she serves as audit engagement leader for some of PwC Bahamas’ most significant retail and private banking, insurance, asset management, multinational, listed, and quasi-government clients. She also has extensive experience providing risk assurance services, including internal audit and business continuity engagements, and is an Accredited IFRS Financial Statement Reviewer for the network of PwC firms operating in the Caribbean.
Alongside her client responsibilities, Myra serves as PwC Bahamas' Banking and Asset Management Industry Leader, Diversity and Inclusion Leader, and Human Capital Partner. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a licensed member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), where she previously served as a Council Member and Chair of the Licensing Committee.
