Hamilton, Bermuda - The PwC Insurance Summit, presented with the Financial Times today announced keynote speakers for its 9 November event. Moderated by PwC Bermuda’s insurance leadership and prominent FT journalists, Ian Smith and Robert Armstrong, the one-day in-person summit will delve into critical topics on the risk management agenda.
Eric Andersen, President of Aon and Juan C. Andrade, President and CEO of Everest Group, will deliver keynotes while Orla Gregory, President, Enstar; Kevin J. O'Donnell, President and CEO, RenaissanceRe; and Mark Cloutier, Executive Chairman and Group CEO of Aspen will take part in a session on the global trilemma - how CEOs are navigating geopolitics, rising rates and economic uncertainty.
A discussion on climate risk will feature Kathleen Reardon, CEO, Hiscox Re & ILS and Gino Smith, former head of property, EMEA & Latin America, AXIS Re, and other leaders. It will be followed by a session on climate risk solutions lead by George Thomas, board member of the Bermuda Business Development Agency, and Jeff Manson, Head of Global Public Sector Partnership, RenaissanceRe. The session will look at how the Bermuda market is harnessing its technical expertise and innovative track-record to better mitigate climate risks and build resilience across the finance industry and wider global economy.
A panel that will delve into talent challenges in the industry features Chen Foley, SVP, Chief Claims Officer, Arcadian Risk Capital; Ann Haugh, CEO, AXIS Re; and Ivy Kusinga, Founder, Career Vines and former Chief Culture and Talent Officer at Chubb.
