This training—Embedding Sustainability: Building Capacity for a Sustainable Future—will equip participants with the knowledge and practical insights needed to navigate the rapidly changing sustainability landscape. The session will focus on global developments from the ISSB and IASB, alongside emerging standards and hot topics shaping sustainability reporting and organisational readiness.

During the session, we will cover the following key areas:

• Overview of the various sustainability frameworks and standards including industry pronouncements
• Deep dive into S1 – General requirements for disclosure of sustainability-related financial information: Objective, scope, general requirements, judgments, uncertainties, and errors
• Deep dive into S2 – Climate-related disclosures: Objective, scope, core content (Governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets)
• Practical insights into GHG measurements, inventorisation and reporting using practical tools
• Performing climate scenario analysis through best practice
