The Business Recovery Services has generally focused on the provision of comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to governments, international organisations and medium to large scale corporations in the private and public sectors.
The business recovery section of CFR has successfully conducted liquidations and corporate restructurings involving asset distributions, ranging from US$ 300,000.00 to US$ 20 million, both in the private and public sectors.
In the past 5 years, CFR has successfully undertaken both trading and non-trading receiverships on behalf of major commercial banks and international development agencies.
We have played a significant advisory role in assisting businesses in distress or companies earmarked for privatisation by acting as interim managers, restructuring their balance sheets and conducting forensic investigations and feasibility studies. In some cases, CFR has successfully marketed and sold off these businesses as going concerns.
