This course offers a practical introduction to personal data protection, covering the core principles, key terminology, and requirements of the Data Protection and Privacy Act. In addition, the programme focuses on safeguarding personal data through appropriate technical and organisational measures, responding to data subject rights, and meeting statutory obligations. Participants will explore incident response procedures, data breach management, and the steps required to mitigate risks effectively.
