Training for PrJSC MetLife

PrJSC MetLife considers professional development of its employees as a strategic priority and is committed to investing in continuous improvement of their knowledge and skills.
On 27 September 2017, PwC Academy delivered the training and counselling seminar "Finance for Non-Financial Professionals" to employees of PrJSC MetLife.
The training was intended to address the following:
- Update knowledge in key areas of financial management
- Learn what basic techniques are applied in analysing the financial information to be used for decision-making purposes
- Improve practical skills to apply the knowledge gained
Upon completion of the seminar, the participants:
- Learnt company-specific income and expense categories and cost accounting methods
- Addressed primary financial statements of a company: the Statement of Financial Position, the Statement of Profit or Loss and the Statement of Cash Flows
- Got an insight into solvency, liquidity and turnover ratios
- Understood how business performance is managed effectively and efficiently
The participants were able to learn basic valuation techniques applied to investments and to gain critical knowledge of the value and key performance indicators of a life insurance company in view of the Company's new strategy.
