Operational performance can be improved through internal innovation, continuous improvement of business processes implemented by experienced and appropriately trained employees.
Managers of Mriya Agro Holding attended a training course Lean Six Sigma, Yellow Belt, delivered in Kyiv on 9-10 February.
Over the course of this two-day seminar, top managers learned Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology and found out about best practice manufacturing processes to achieve high performance, success and profitability of the organisation.
The training course was designed as a production simulation model aimed at reconstructing real-life manufacturing conditions of the organisation. During the training, the students were requested to enhance the organisation's performance, demonstrate the impact of the basic Lean Manufacturing principles on the organisation's financial performance and learn how to implement the key tools of the Lean Manufacturing methodology in practice. The simulation model helped the students use practical case studies to better learn theoretical knowledge.
As a result of the course, managers can now develop evidence-based project approach to manufacturing tasks to improve quality, reduce costs and foster conditions to reduce waste in the manufacturing process and improve customer satisfaction with the services produced.
