Don’t let anything get in the way of your studies

On my way home, my tricycle ride stopped at a corner and this kid who was doing his homework out on the sidewalk caught my attention. Using a monoblock chair as his study table and the sunlight as his lamp, he is as engrossed in his studies as if he were actually inside a classroom under a teacher’s watchful eye.

It’s always been my dream to become a teacher. Students like this kid fuel my desire even more and make me want to be the kind of teacher that inspires this kind of hard work and dedication to study, no matter what.
