Scholar’s tuition

When should one start to give their parents a treat? Anytime one can.

When I was a kid and I got a perfect score on my exams and quizzes, as a reward, my Papa would bring me to our favorite fast food restaurant.

My Papa worked for almost 30 years as a watch repair technician. During the pandemic, he had a hard time providing for us as there are days when there were no customers. In March 2022, I finally refunded my tuition as a scholar. This time, I decided to be the one who treats him.

“Anong meron, ‘nak?”

“Wala po pa, na-refund ko na po kasi yung scholarship tuition ko.”

“Wow, congrats, Anak! Itago mo yan ah para kapag nangailangan ka ng pera hindi na tayo mahihirapan.”

“Opo, Pa”
