‘Padayon’ is a Visayan word that means ‘carry on’.
Persevering in a crisis is not reserved for adults.
Students were forced to stay home and learn without the benefit of classroom instruction. Some teachers decided to bring the lessons where the students live.
One student visited is Rose-anne Pasic, a nine year-old Grade 3 student. “Masipag talaga siya... Kahit nung face-to-face hanggang sa nag-modular, makikita mo talaga yung pagpupursigi niya sa pag-aaral,” says her teacher.
To our mind, this picture captures student Rose-anne as a good example, but it is a tribute as well to every teacher who goes the extra mile to bring the classroom to their students’ homes.
