The amount of sick leave will be increased in Kazakhstan from 1st July 2023

Briefly:

The amount of sick leave payment will be increased from 15 MCI to 25 MCI (in 2023 it is 86,250 KZT).

The amount of social allowance for temporary disability paid for one month cannot exceed 25 MCI in accordance with Art.133 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Rate: 1 MCI = 3 450 KZT in 2023.

When: enter into force on July, 1 2023.
