At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems.
We have the power to create significant change. Across the network our contributions to local communities and environmental efforts have made an impact.
Our global community framework focuses on working together to build Resilient Communities. We are contributing to our communities so that they can respond to their specific local needs now and in the future. We are helping equip them with the digital skills of the future, build their resilience to the physical impacts of climate change (e.g., extreme weather events), and engage in initiatives that enable people to access opportunities more equitably.
At PwC, we are empowering our people to share their skills, knowledge and experience, so that we can extend our impact to support communities - beyond the work we do every day with our clients. We are sharing our knowledge with change makers, such as NGOs, educational institutions, and social, micro, and small enterprises.
To date, we have reached over 25.3 million people, NGOs, and social, micro and small enterprises through our community projects. In FY25, over 54,000 PwC volunteers contributed to community initiatives that reached 1.6 million beneficiaries and are enabling communities to respond to specific local needs now and in the future.
PwC Kazakhstan, as a part of global community framework is evolving with a clear focus to work together to build Resilient Communities.
This global initiative intended to support more people to have the chance to learn, work and participate in the digital age. We direct our efforts to reskilling and upskilling people for the digital world in places where the need is particularly acute and where PwC’s expertise can contribute the most, such as financial literacy or cybersecurity.
Annually, our employees deliver lectures and workshops at the schools, universities and orphanages all over Kazakhstan, totalling over 200 academic hours per year.
