In detail:
On December 2, the President of Kazakhstan signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Republican Budget for 2022-2024”, which approved the Monthly Calculation Index (MCI) and Minimum Monthly Wage (MMW) for 2022.
The following indicators will be applied starting from January 1, 2022:
- MMW - KZT 60,000.
- MCI for calculating benefits and other social payments, as well as the application of penalties, taxes and other payments in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan - KZT 3,063;
- Minimum basic state pension payment - KZT 19,450;
- Minimum pension - KZT 46,302;
- Minimum subsistence level for calculating the basic social payments - KZT 36,018.
The law determines that the funds allocated for pension payments will be increased by 7 percent from January 1, 2022
