The regulatory landscape for Public Benefit Organisations (PBOs) in Kenya is evolving rapidly. As the Public Benefits Organisations Regulatory Authority (PBORA) continues to strengthen the sector's governance framework, the adoption of the International Non-Profit Accounting Standard (INPAS) under the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) phased implementation roadmap presents an important opportunity for PBOs to enhance accountability, transparency and stakeholder confidence.
At the same time, new governance, reporting, tax and compliance requirements, coupled with shrinking donor funding, are increasing pressure on organisations to strengthen sustainability, optimise tax benefits and demonstrate measurable impact. Strong governance, transparent reporting and effective stewardship are now critical to building donor confidence and securing future funding.
To help PBOs navigate these changes, PwC Kenya invites you to the PBO Accountability & Compliance Edge Series. This two-way interactive experience will provide practical insights on INPAS adoption, tax optimisation, regulatory compliance, and strategies for building sustainable, accountable and resilient organisations.
We look forward to having you join us for this timely discussion on how PBOs can translate strong financial stewardship into greater trust, transparency and sustainable impact.
