PwC is delighted to invite you to an insightful training on “Navigating customs audits and recent developments”, which will be held on 27 November 2025. This session is designed to equip clients with the knowledge on customs matters.   

During this session, we will delve into what comprises customs audits, how to prepare for customs audits as a taxpayer and common issues that arise. URA focus areas and contentious matters for customs as well as recent developments. Our discussion will include the following topics:

• Digitalization and Compliance in Customs Operations including conflicts between customs and domestic taxes. 
• Recent Developments in Uganda’s Customs Environment & EACCMA (Amendment) Act
