How can we enjoy a meal if our own brother goes hungry?
As part of our corporate responsibility activity to provide children’s books to a remote Aeta community in Zambales, we treated the school children to a meal ordered from a popular fast food store. A kid stopped eating and began to walk away with his half-eaten meal.
“Do you like it?”
“Yes. This white noodle is delicious when mixed with the red sauce.”
“So why didn’t you finish eating it?”
“I will go home and bring the rest of the food to my Kuya so he can taste it too.”
