Alberto Guillo, PUP Executive Vice President and Vice President for Planning and Finance, opened the event by emphasizing how academic institutions and companies can work together to bring meaningful opportunities to students. PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao followed with a message focused on adaptability—sharing how PwC is empowering young talents to embrace technology and workforce changes while staying grounded in its purpose and values.
Rick signed the MOU was signed on behalf of PwC Philippines, while Alberto Guillo signed it on behalf of PUP, in lieu of University President Dr. Manuel Muhi. PwC Philippines Business Services Partner Jimmy Disquetado and PUP Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs Edelyn M. Guillo served as witnesses.
The collaboration is already making an impact through initiatives like the Learning and Experience Hub at the PUP Manila Main campus and the Education on Wheels mobile classroom. The MOU further expands these efforts, creating more ways for students to gain industry experience and accelerate their career journeys.
