On 26 August 2025, Isla Lipana & Co./PwC Philippines professionals gathered for the first of three FY26 Tax, Deals and Corporate Finance, and Assurance Mixers.
Spearheaded by Tax Partner Nelson Soriano, the event was designed to foster stronger collaboration, discuss potential opportunities and build solid networks among partners, directors and managers across different lines of services. Attendees engaged in meaningful discussions that highlighted best practices and explored new strategies for delivering comprehensive client solutions.
The event kicked off with lively welcoming remarks from Vice Chairman and Assurance Managing Partner Aldie Garcia, Tax Managing Partner Carlos Carado II, and Deals and Corporate Finance Partner Anna Ordoñez. Tax Partner Brando Cabalsi and Deals & Corporate Finance and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Partner Catherine Lipana-Gomez then led insightful discussions on how the Tax, Deals and Corporate Finance, and Assurance teams can collaborate effectively to deliver the firm’s existing services. Tax Partner Nelson Soriano closed the event with an encouraging closing message. Tax Partner Joel Navarro also graced the event.
