Alex Cabrera and Ruth Blasco talk at iAcademy

PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Alex Cabrera and Assurance Partner Ruth F Blasco talked to iACADEMY Senior High School students in the ABM strand (refers to the accountancy, business, and management academic programs) about the BS Accountancy program as a college choice in their school, and the career opportunities that are available to CPAs.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rochelle Divinagracia officially opened the event dubbed as "Bridging the Gap between the industry and the academe", which was held on 14 November 2019 at the school auditorium. The Strand Head for ABM, Jessica Ranieses, introduced PwC Philippines Human Capital Senior Associate Yochika Nakagawa. Aika gave students a background of both PwC and its partnership with iACADEMY, before Alex and Ruth did the Q&A. The Business Manager of the school's Central Student Organization and a Marketing Management student, Geoffrey Allen Tan, thanked PwC and briefly shared his college experience in his closing remarks. The event was organized by iACADEMY's Office of Student Experience and Advancement (OSEA).
