Ben Pietersen joined the PwC Georgia transfer pricing team as a manager in August. He has five years’ experience in transfer pricing, working with various multinational entities in South Africa as well as the rest of Africa. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Ben’s primary areas of expertise include preparing transfer pricing documentation for multinational companies, performing detailed economic analyses including benchmarking studies, preparing technical analyses and providing assistance with transfer pricing controversy matters which require a more in-depth understanding of transfer pricing principles.

In South Africa and the larger sub-Saharan Africa region, Ben served clients across various industries, including oil & gas, mining & metals, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical products, consumer goods, technology and communications, financial sector and other industries.

Taking into account his experience in transfer pricing, Ben will contribute from a technical perspective as well as assist in building and expanding the transfer pricing market offering of PwC Georgia as well as the larger Eurasia region.
