Anzhela Mesropyan

Manager, Armenia

Anzhela Mesropyan joined PwC Armenia transfer pricing team as a manager in September. She has more than 17 years of professional experience in tax, audit and accounting. Anzhela holds a master’s degree in economics. She is the Certified Auditor of the Republic of Armenia and holds the Transfer Pricing Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Taxation UK.

Before joining PwC, Anzhela worked for International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Ggou, and USAID-funded projects supporting tax authorities in developing a legal framework for transfer pricing. In particular, she drafted a chapter on transfer pricing of the Armenian tax code and secondary legislation ensuring proper implementation of transfer pricing regulations. Anzhela also provided consultations to the Government stakeholders on international practices and its domestic implications in the area of SME taxation, tax dispute resolution, agribusiness taxation and risk-based inspections.

She has worked with a number of regional and international clients across various industries, including mining, construction, technology and communication, transportation and financial sector.

She will pursue opportunities in the Armenian market with competitive transfer pricing offerings and will help to expand PwC Armenia opportunities for cooperation with international organisations and the government.
