Foreigners can stay in Kazakhstan up to and including November 1, 2020 in certain circumstances

In detail:

The following documents should be treated as valid (for Kazakh immigration purposes) up to and including 1 November 2020, if they expired on/after March 16, 2020:

  1. ID or passport
  2. Visa
  3. Permanent residence permit
  4. Temporary residence permit
  5. Labor patent (work permission issued to labour immigrants)

For foreigners who arrived in Kazakhstan based on the visa free regime before quarantine, the period of possible stay is extended up to and including November 1, 2020.
