Changes to obligatory pension contributions (OPC) rate for civil contracts, effective 1 June 2020

In details:

For the period 1 June 2020 to 1 January 2021, the OPC rate for civil contractors is decreased to 5% (from 10%). The monthly OPC is capped at KZT 106,250 / approx. $258.

Payers:

The Employer (legal entity or individual entrepreneur) on behalf of civil contractors (at its own expense) or civil contractors themselves, depending on the situation.
