In detail:
Currently, Kazakhstan borders are opened for nationals of countries which have direct flights to Kazakhstan specifically:
- Turkey;
- South Korea.
The key requirements are being citizens of these countries, direct flight to Kazakhstan and a valid Kazakhstan visa. Individuals do not require specific permission from the COVID 19 State Committee to enter Kazakhstan.
Currently, direct flights to Georgia and Thailand are expected to resume as of 1 August.
Countries where restrictions may be similarly relaxed in future include:
- Hungary
- India
- Czech Republic
- Malaysia
- Egypt
- Ukraine
- Poland
- Uzbekistan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Tajikistan
