Pursuant to a Government Decree (#220 dated 17 April 2020), entry to Kazakhstan under the visa free regime is suspended for the period 17 April 1 November 2020 for citizens of the following countries:

| Greece | Luxembourg | Singapore | South Korea |
| Denmark | Malaysia | Slovakia | Japan |
| Israel | Malta | Slovenia | |
| Ireland | Mexico | USA | |
| Iceland | Monaco | Thailand |
The visa free regime for citizens of China and India transiting via NurSultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda and Taraz airports is suspended until 1 November 2020.
