Important Changes to the Alimony Payment Procedure Effective 25 August 2026

Starting from 25 August 2026, alimony payments must be transferred to a special bank account designated for the alimony recipient.

In details

For employers, the process of withholding alimony from employees’ salaries remains unchanged. However, the bank account to which alimony payments must be transferred is changing. The enforcement officer will provide new banking details.

If the banking details have not been provided, the enforcement officer is required to notify the alimony recipient accordingly. Until the employer receives the required banking details, the transfer of alimony payments to any other bank account will not be possible.
