Simplification of Kazakh Immigration Legislation

The following changes in Immigration Legislation were introduced in January 2020:

• Starting from January 1, 2020 a 72 hour visa freeregime for citizens of India and China transiting via Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda and Taraz airports. Previously, it was available at Nursultan and Almaty airports only.

Liability for violation rests with the foreign national or the airline.
