The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission made changes to the format of indicating the month and year of expiry date of medicines.

In details

The changes are made to the Recommendation of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission of 26 February 2020 No.2 "On the guidance for calculating the date of commencement of the shelf life of finished dosage forms of medicinal products for medical use and veterinary medicinal products".

The changes provide flexible formats for indicating the month and year of expiry date. The Recommendation was published on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission on 20 September 2024 and enters into force after 180 calendar days from the date of official publication.
