By the order of the acting Minister of Health of Kazakhstan dated 22 July 2022 No. KR DSM-66, amendments were introduced to the Rules for turnover of biologically active food additives (the “Rules”).
In details
The amendments to the Rules envisage:
- Applicability of the requirements of the sanitary rules (approved by the orders of the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan No. KR DSM-58 and No. KR DSM-73) to pharmacies, pharmacy points, specialized stores and retail chains that carry out retail sale of biologically active food additives (the “BAA”);
- Requirement on labeling the BAA in Kazakh and Russian languages;
- Requirement to vehicles used for transportation of the BAA on compliance with the sanitary rules and technical regulations of the Customs Union “On Food Safety” (TR CU 021/2011).
The amendments to the Rules would come into force on 8 August 2022.
