On 4 July 2022 the Law No.134-VII “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of Kazakhstan on volunteer activities, charity, state social order, state order for implementation of strategic partnership, grants and awards for non-governmental organizations, medicines and social security” (the “Law”) was adopted.

The Law excluded the restriction of Article 245.7 of Kazakh Healthcare Code, and medicines and medical devices could be procured within framework of the guaranteed volume of free medical care and compulsory social medial insurance (the “GVFMC / OSHI”) without following ceiling price requirement.
The Law would come into force on 4 September 2022.
