On 29 April 2022 amendments w ere introduced to the Rules for provision of information on digital mining activities by the Order of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.
In detail
In accordance w ith the Order of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan dated 29 April 2022 No.146/НҚ (the “Order”), the Rules for provision of information on digital mining activities are set out in new edition. In particular, the Order establishes the follow ing categories of persons, w ho are required to inform the authorized body about digital mining activities:
- individual entrepreneurs and / or legal entities planning / carrying out / terminating digital mining activities;
- individual entrepreneurs and / or legal entities planning / carrying out / terminating the provision of services to persons carrying out digital mining activities on providing integrated computing infrastructure for performing computing operations and data processing.
The Order comes into effect on 14 May 2022.
