On 25 April 2022 Kazakhstan Government adopted the Decree No. 242 “On Amendments to the Decree of Kazakhstan Government dated 10 September 2020 No. 568 “On Determining the List of Goods Subject to Labeling”.
In detail
The Decree provides for the follow ing amendments:
- The list of goods subject to labeling w ill include the follow ing medicines:
- mmunosera and other blood fractions.
- immunological goods packed in dosage forms or in forms or packages for retail sale.
- animal blood prepared for therapeutic, prophylactic or diagnostic purposes.
- Medicines consisting of mixed or unmixed products, for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes, packed in dosage forms (including drugs in the form of transdermal systems) or in forms or packages for retail sale, and other medicines containing antibiotics.
- The requirement on labeling w ould be applicable to medicines produced from 1 July 2022.
- The list also stipulates specific names (international non-proprietary and trade names) of medicines subject to labeling.
The Decree enters into force w ithin 60 calendar days after the day of its first official publication.
